the coolest bridge ehhh-ver

i'm currently reading furiously thru this book series called mark of the lion, by francine rivers. its pretty much amazing, i highly recommend it. but it has this side effect that makes me think that i am a roman historian or something, and everything i see, read, or hear somehow relates to the characters and setting in these books. its quite amusing actually. today for example as i went exploring through the countryside of spain with the bailey's, all i could think about was this book, and "ohh man, i can see the romans building this bridge" (which was the coolest bridge ehh-ver, brought more to life by this book, haha), or "doesn't this field look like there should be a gladiator galloping right thru the middle of it?" luckily one of the gals here is reading thru it now too, and is sharing the fun experience with me. i really think you should join too :)

that is definitely a very rad bridge. Fun times. I hope no gladiators jump out and get you. Are you awesome at Spanish yet? I hope so.

I read that series of novels a few years ago, before the movie Gladiator came out. They were so awesome! It's nice to know I have a literary kindred spirit!
